This is the first Open Studio since moving into our new digs in North Austin 78729. In addition to libations and tasty treats there will be new oil paintings, acrylic paintings, ink illustrations, mixed media and photography (originals and Giclee prints). Much of it is unique to the Austin experience including the Music culture in fact, their will be musicians and guitars and such in attendance so I imagine if the mood strikes them we will have live music.

Likely my most famous work of art! This is a tribute piece I did to honor a generation of accomplished and somewhat famous artists that I have admired since I first came to Austin, Texas in the mid 1980's. They are responsible for famous album covers and posters for major recording artists and a few were contributors to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. One of them did an extensive marketing campaign of classic posters for Lone Star Beer feature a fezz of precocious armadillos who really enjoyed their beer. They also illustrated major text books and history books.
Several of them have been friends and clients over the years. From left to right... Blackie White Juke, Artly Snuff, Micael Priest, Danny Garrett, Jim Franklin, Kerry Awn, Jesse Sublett, Alan Schaefer, Mike Tolleson, Sam Yeates, Joe Nick Patoski, Tom Wilmore, Nels Jacobson, Bill Narum and Terry Raines at The Wittliff Art Museum Collections.
They were all on hand to sign copies of their new book...
